S.C.C. Information
Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year!
The School Community Council (S.C.C.) supports student achievement and well-being through an advisory role with the school principal. S.C.C. also supports parent engagement and communication between home and school. More information can be found at:

Parents/Guardians can stay up to date with their school by subscribing to the news and alerts feed. (see attached - Subscribing to Receive News from Your Home School)
This year with the creation of the DDSB@Home virtual schools, parents/guardians may wish to be involved in both their home school S.C.C. as well as the virtual DDSB@Home S.C.C. Students have been cross-enrolled in the virtual school with their home school allowing parents/guardians to participate in both S.C.C.'s.
We welcome your involvement in our S.C.C. Please complete the nomination form (attached) and send to williamdunbarps@ddsb.ca by September 25, 2020.
Our S.C.C. elections will be held virtually at our S.C.C. meeting on October 1, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. The link will be provided prior to the meeting. Please confirm you would like to attend by sending an email to williamdunbarps@ddsb.ca and the link will be emailed to you.
Please find attached the Nomination Form, the DDSB S.C.C. Handbook and the William Dunbar P.S. Constitution (that was updated last year, 2019) as well as the subscription instructions listed above.
