Our School

William Dunbar Public School is located in Pickering, Ontario and serves students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Our population also includes students in the DDSB Gifted Program for identified students in Grades 4 to 8 who live in Pickering.  At William Dunbar Public School, we strive to be a community where everyone can grow and succeed. We are a collective of students, families, and staff who bring varying identities, voices, lived experiences, abilities, and roles. Together, we are working toward the same goal: to bring out the best in one another through continuous personal and academic development. We are active partners in each other's success, rooted deeply in respect, inclusiveness, and collaboration. At William Dunbar, we are truly a community of learning for everyone.
